The "Nursery"

Unfortunately, we don't have a room just for the baby. She shares our bedroom with us, which means her area must be decorated for her, without totally destroying the adults' side of the room.

I had been looking at her area, somewhat dissatisfied that there wasn't more. It was just too plain looking. So when we were at IKEA, I was browsing the canopies they had (very similar to a mosquito net). Since I always wanted a mosquito net of my own, I thought this would be a nice route to go. The one that would fit in best in our room and also happened to be my favorite was white with leaves trailing down it.

We went to the section where they were stored and there was only one left! It was being discontinued! It's like it was meant to be, not to mention half-price. :-)

We brought it home and Thomas hung it up yesterday. It looks gorgeous. Now we just need the baby...
